BME’s Building K closes due to the water level of the Danube. The restriction is expected to last until 11 June

Please be informed that the use of the University’s “K” building shall be restricted from 13:00 today - according to the information issued on 5 June to all university citizens by the Directorate of Property Management at BME’s Chancellery.

The closure was required by measures taken by the Budapest Sewage Works Ltd due to the high water level of the Danube and its impact on the sewerage system. The closure of the building situated on Műegyetem embankment may be lifted next Tuesday, as the water level is expected to decrease over the weekend. Other university buildings are not affected by the measure.

Currently there is an exam period at Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Exams and events are moved to other buildings. For information on any changes to exams, please visit the Central Academic Office website and the Neptun system.
