A great opportunity for students interested in communication.
BME is recruiting a student media team for the upcoming EELISA Scientific Student Competition, to be held in Bucharest on 12-13 June, following last year's event in Budapest. BME is looking for creative students who can present the event and the winning projects both on the spot and after, using a variety of content creation tools.
To apply, you should be interested in media, including science communication, have some experience in photography, videography, graphic design or creative writing, and speak English at an intermediate level or above. If you turn out to be one of the three selected correspondents, you will receive a preliminary practical training and a four-day scholarship to the event, as well as
networking opportunities within the academic and student community of Europe's leading technical universities.
To apply, submit a short video introduction in English, highlighting your experience and skills in creative content production. A list of references to previous self-produced material and a written summary of up to 200 words with a list of proposed media content are also required.
The deadline for applications is 25 April, the application form and details are available here. There is also a lot of useful information on BME's EELISA site.
