BME signs cooperation agreement with yet another industrial partner

The university will work with QTICS Automotive in the field of vehicle certification and testing, among other things.
On 14 March, representatives of BME and QTICS Automotive Zrt. signed a cooperation agreement framework. It covers the joint development of solutions and the submission of joint proposals in the following areas:
vehicle certification and vehicle approval;
system testing and validation;
preliminary and posterior risk analysis for safety and security;
assessment of digitalisation risks;
assessment of digitalization solutions related to automotive industry development processes;
education and training.
BME was represented at the ceremony by János Levendovszky, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Chancellor Miklós Verseghi-Nagy, Zsolt Szalay, Head of the Department of Automotive Technology, Faculty of Transport and Vehicle Engineering, research group leader Árpád Török, and research fellow Zsombor Pethő.
At the event, a memorandum of understanding was also signed between QTICS Automotive Zrt. and Anhui Pusi Standard Technology Co., a subsidiary of Chery Automobile Co., one of China's leading car manufacturers, for the provision of type approval and homologation services. The aim of the agreement is for QTICS Automotive Zrt. and Jáfi-AUTÓKUT Engineering Ltd. to carry out type approval of Chery vehicles in Hungary through the Hungarian Transport Authority in strategic cooperation.
