BME Suborbitals to develop new rocket
2024. 12. 11.Software development company evosoft will be the team's partner in the project.
Evosoft will be involved in the development of the next rocket of the BME Suborbitals team, the company has announced. The agreement was recently signed by team leader Emma Fertő, BME rector Hassan Charaf, and István Petényi, managing director of evosoft Hungary.
The company will contribute to the BME Suborbitals rocket development not only by producing the hardware components, but also by providing IT expertise and, last but not least, by the agile development methodology to enhance the smooth operation of the team.

Our company has always treated BME as a key partner and has high hopes for future collaborations, including in the field of R&D,” said Mr Petényi at the signing ceremony held in the team's workshop.
The strategic partnership between the university and the company goes back decades. Evosoft staff members give lectures at several faculties of the university and practical laboratory training at the company's headquarters. Students can apply for evosoft scholarships and there are plans to launch a 3D and model design course called Prototyping.
