BME to host the EU Space Days

Anyone who matters in the EU space industry will probably show up at the conference.

Since Hungary holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union until the end of the year, this year's conference on the community's space programmes, the EU Space Days, will be held in Budapest. The venue is BME (building Q at 2 Magyar Tudósok körútja), a place closely related to the topic through its space engineering training.

The event, to be held on 20. and 21. November, will discuss the already operating European space programmes (Copernicus, EGNOS, Galileo) as well as the new ones currently being developed (GOVSATCOM, IRIS2). Industry actors, company managers, and decision-makers will be there, but anyone can listen to the lectures: to participate in person, you need to register, or you can join online through live stream at the EU Space LinkedIn page.

The Copernicus Earth Art Exhibition is also coming to the event, presenting the most unique and interesting images of the Earth taken by the Copernicus satellites, like this one:
