Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering hosts Professional Day

On April 16th, the College of Transportation Engineering within the Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering will host its largest-ever Professional Day.

This day present a prime opportunity for students, high schoolers, and industry professionals to connect face-to-face. The agenda includes professional presentations by representatives of companies such as HungaroControl Zrt., Robert Bosch Kft., Mercedes-Benz, BKK Zrt., the MÁV-Volán Group, and Aeroplex, just to mention a few of the 40 exhibitors in total. Attendees can anticipate a captivating lineup featuring a gas turbine engine start-up, a drone demonstration, and a showcase of a Fogmaker fire suppression system. Moreover, visitors will have the chance to explore projects from the new Competence Centre at the BME Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering. There will also be a lab visit, including the demonstration of vehicle speed measurements on a dynamometer. Additionally, the University’s racing teams, including the BME Aerospace Team, Formula Racing Team, BME Motorsport Team, BME SharkTeam and BME Scuba Diving Club, will be in attendance. Notably, the event will feature the unveiling of our TipoEV electric racing car, a brilliant synthesis of state-of-the-art technology with a nostalgic design reminiscent of the 1950s.

The Professional Day in pictures

The 6th Professional Day on 16 April from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. is open to all those interested in vehicles, transport, logistics and aviation engineering in BME’s Building St. and the parking area in front of it, as well as in Building J.
