The 8th H-SPACE Conference will be hosted by BME and the Hungarian Astronautical Society on 25-26 April 2024 in a hybrid format.

2024 marks the 8th edition of the International Conference on Research, Technology and Education of Space (H-SPACE), jointly organised by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the Hungarian Astronautical Society (MANT). The English-language conference series was launched in 2015.

The event will feature on-site presentations streamed online on 25 April, with additional online talks on the 26th.

This year’s conference is expected to bring together over 150 participants from 18 countries. The programme will include three plenary sessions by Finnish, Scottish, and Hungarian speakers, along with 22 presentations divided into three sections: scientific research, technological development, and education and outreach.

In addition, the “Poster highlight talks” special plenary will include 32 poster presentations.

Attendance at the conference is free of charge.
